It also monitors the implementation of two optional protocols to the Convention clinging to the involvement of children in armed conflict and on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography. On 19 December / December 2011, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted an optional protocol Third relates to a communications procedure, will allow individual children to submit complaints about specific violations of their rights under the Convention
